REFLECTIVE MATERIALS
Reflective plastics are used to increase the amount of light available to plants.
There is a debate regarding the best reflective plastic (white or aluminum). Aluminized plastics (Mylar type) reflect a higher percentage of the original light source than white; however, white provides more diffuse light and more uniform reflection. That is why white is better since it has a higher percentage of diffuse light than any aluminized plastic.
